Women's Basketball

Women’s Basketball is offered here at BMCHS. The Women’s Basketball program at Bishop McLaughlin focuses on developing well-rounded student-athletes through discipline, skill training, and competitive play. Our team culture builds confidence, communication, and a commitment to excellence on and off the court. Whether you are a player or a fan, come out and cheer on the Hurricanes this season. Go Canes!

Head Coach

Marcus Crawford

is a passionate coach and educator with experience at both the high school and collegiate levels. Before taking over the Bishop McLaughlin girls basketball program, he served as a college assistant coach, recruiting and developing athletes to compete at the next level.

In the staff’s first season at Bishop McLaughlin, they led a major turnaround—guiding the team from 3 wins to a 14-9 record and a district semifinal appearance, while helping the team earn a 3.95 GPA. He also coaches on the Nike EYBL circuit with Team Durant, working with elite high school talent nationwide.

The program is built on a clear mission: to enlighten and empower young women. Whether they pursue collegiate basketball, a career, or higher education, Coach Crawford and his staff are dedicated to preparing each athlete for the next chapter of their lives through intentional coaching, championship culture, and holistic development.
